Andrew Tullis in Paris.

is the President of Tullis Architects, Inc. The firm, which launched in 2019, has offices / projects / clients located in both Los Angeles & Santa Barbara.

Throughout his distinguished 25 year+ career as a California Architect, Andrew has designed high-end custom homes and estates of every style. Before launching his own firm, Andrew was the principal designer of highly esteemed international architecture firms Richard Manion Architecture and Harrison Design.

“As a practicing architect, one is always still a student - and never stops learning, it’s a part of one’s job.” Andrew also enjoys learning through world travel opportunities. He loves to look at cities and buildings and to explore culture and local cuisines. Andrew’s recent architectural trips include Paris, Egypt, Greece, Andalusian Spain, Delhi and Northern India, and Charleston.

Andrew brings experience and thoughtfulness and a large trove of ideas to every new project. He likes to start with a full program of client needs and then augment with a massive file of images of iconic houses, interiors, and gardens from all over the world - to get the team’s creative juices flowing and to exhaust all possibilities in the journey towards the perfect design.

Andrew is a member of The American Institute of Architects (AIA) and a National Fellow of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art (ICAA). He was a founding member of the Southern California Chapter of the ICAA where Andrew served as President from 2014-2016.
